One of Willow's Songs...

"Mr. Golden sun,
it's more fun in the summer
when the buds are out
and the strawberries and tomatoes are growing..."

First Day of Spring!

A walk by the river is such a perfect way to celebrate the first day of spring! It felt so good not to be all bundled up. Willow especially enjoyed it, running ahead of us down the woodsy paths, tossing rocks into the river and playing in the Lion's park playground.

St. Paddy's Day...

Willow got her green on this St Patrick's day at Parent Link where they had all kinds of lucky activities happening. These are some pics of her two favorites: the green water table (she was showing the boys how the 'fishing' is done) and the 'treasure hunt' where they found shiny gold chocolate coins that were left by a lucky leprechaun. I think she enjoyed herself...just a wee bit!

32 Months

Willow is a force to be reckoned with these days. She is growing into her own person more and more each day. She is smart, like whipper-snapper smart. And she is willful, like her namesake. She is also imaginative, energetic, hilarious and loud, at times. Other times she can be quiet, contemplative, thoughtful, moody, cuddly and so loving. Lately one of her very favorite games to play is "I am a cat!" She walks around on all fours and talks about her life as a cat. "Cat's don't wear clothes, that's why I am naked." or "Cats like to cuddle" or " Cats don't like cheese sandwiches". I say, "Willow put on your shoes" she says "Meow". I say pick up your toys", she says "Meow". Everyday she shows me a glimpse of the little girl she is becoming....and sometimes she shows me the baby that she still is. The other day I told her that she isn't really a toddler anymore and now she is more like a preschooler...she liked that. She is creative, inventive and silly and of course, I Love her more than ever!

The snow is melting and the sunbeams have been warming up the flower beds. Willow was excited to welcome the arrival of the Lady bugs back to our yard.
